Acclimatisation phase
Teams will have the option of acclimatising in Laos or Thailand. In Laos teams could head up the Nam Ou river to explore the remote, jungle-clad hills of Muang Ngoi, learning jungle craft from local guides whilst wild camping, and passing through a traditional Lao village.

Trekking phase
Teams will have the opportunity to trek amongst diverse hilltribe villages in the Hoang Lien Mountains of north Vietnam, setting out from the old colonial hillstation at Sapa to explore the valley below. Teams travelling outside the summer monsoon could even attempt to summit Mount Fansipan, at 3143m the highest peak in mainland south-east Asia.

Project phase
Teams have the rewarding opportunity to experience a different culture through community development schemes, and working in orphanages and schools in Laos - one of the world's poorest countries.

Rest and relaxation phase
Teams will have the opportunity to visit ancient temples, jungle-clad waterfalls and exotic night markets in Laos, and may also be able to reach the Emerald Waters of Ha Long Bay. Once there teams could book themselves a junk to explore the thousands of limestone islands, and even sleep on deck under the stars!
