Project work in Tanzania
Previous World Challenge teams have been able to work on many fulfilling projects that are greatly appreciated by the local communities. Examples include helping to provide a water supply to a primary school, renovating a kitchen and painting classrooms. The project is a great chance to interact on a more personal level with the local people and experience first hand the culture of Tanzania and a different way of life.
Rest and relaxation
Tanzania is famous for its white sandy beaches and laid-back atmosphere. Teams may be able to snorkel and swim in the Indian Ocean whilst relaxing in coastal towns such as Pangani.
In Tanzania there are a large number of places in which to choose your safari. Most offer a good chance of seeing some of the African "Big Five" - i.e. elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo, in addition to several hundred other species.
