Sam Clarke, Safety and Training Instructor

Sam has worked full-time with World Challenge since November 2010.
He works within the Safety and Training Team as a Safety and Training Instructor. Sam aspired for a career within World Challenge, because he admired the positive ethos of the organisation. An opinion which he developed from personal experience when leading a World Challenge Expedition, to Ecuador and The Galapagos Islands in the summer of 2009.

For the past ten years Sam has worked in the Leisure and Outdoor Education Arena; having studied a BSc in Sports Science. Prior to Sam working for World Challenge, he worked as a successful Freelance Instructor for a multitude of accredited organisations.
His current role with World Challenge utilises his vast skill set and has given him the opportunity to indulge in his passion for the outdoors and world travel. Sam’s role within World Challenge exists to support other sub-departments within the company, predominantly to assist them in making informed decisions on technical aspects of International Expeditions. In his spare time, Sam participates in numerous outdoor sports, favourably climbing and kayaking. .
