Training tip from Simon Chaffey, one of our Expedition Planning Managers, who has completed various marathons as well as an ultra marathon… When running. Don’t think – just run. Focus on one foot in front of the other. Make a conscious effort to start slower than usual. This will mean you’ll probably run at your normal pace given the exciting environment. Don’t get caught up running out of your capacity. |

Training tip of the week: Swimming is a great way to work your upper and lower body at the same time. It’s a fantastic way to help with your running as you can build up stamina as well as strengthen your muscles whilst having less impact on your legs.
