Arrival in Norway
All teams fly into Kristiansand and are picked up by a minibus from the airport.

Main trekking phase in Norway
From an outdoor centre near the town of Evje teams will trek north through the mountains of the Setesdal Valley finishing the trek at the River Otra from where they will begin their river journey. Throughout the expedition teams will be self-sufficient, wild camping and carrying full packs.

River journey
The River Otra flows from Hovden to Kristiansand and has large, flat sections and calm class 1 and 2 rapids providing a safe location for beginner and intermediate paddlers. During the river journey the teams will be wild camping on one of the many islands on this stunning river. Teams on longer itinerary may also have the opportunity to break up their river journey with a day’s rock climbing on a crag overlooking the river

Rest and relaxation in Norway
In a short rest and relaxation phase, teams may choose to explore the town of Evje, famous for its rich mineral deposits, or enjoy one of the local nature trails. There is also the opportunity for teams to do some white water rafting, climbing, mountain biking or take in the local wildlife on a beaver and elk safari.
