"I can't begin to explain how amazing our expedition was. The sights, sounds and smells of India are something that will stick with us forever. The challenges our students faced and the skills they learnt meant we took away 18 teenagers and come back with 18 young adults. World challenge has given us the chance to experience a culture and country that many people never get the chance to - an awesome and unforgetable experience."
Charlotte Leeke, School Leader
Monks Walk School

"This expedition was certainly a challenge. Our students loved every minute of it despite hard trekking, long journeys, illness, altitude sickness, and even mild hypothermia!. Local guides, porters and support staff deserve a special mention because they were excellent. We travelled on overnight private buses from Manali to Shimla, then again from Shimla to Jaipur for more sight seeing time. The Taj Mahal is a must see. We saved it for our last full day in India. It was a very moving experience for everyone. All in all a great expedition."

"I was one of the Challengers from the school that went to India - Himalaya. I've been back from India now for nearly a month, and I've been meaning to e-mail you since I came home. I just want to say that this expedition was one of the best things that I have ever done, the experience of different culture, being independent for a whole month and bonding with the team was amazing. I have many pictures of our expedition and they bring back so many fond memories. This I will never forget. I hope to go back to India some day.  Also, after being on this expedition it has encouraged me to think about doing a lot more travelling around the world. I just want to say thank you World Challenge for giving me this opportunity and also for giving me the expedition of a life time. I would encourage everyone that's thinking of taking an expedition next year, or in years to come to never give up, it's worth everything. Thank you World Challenge "

"I would say that the areas of Rachel's character that wanted to take part in the challenge were enhanced. For example, the desire to travel, adventure, wanting to push herself. She is very proud of her achievement "
Christina Stores, Parent
Headington School

"The entire experience  was amazing and I look back on the last four weeks with a real feeling of accomplishment! I have something magnificent  to take back with me - the memories and the things I've learn throughout the expedition! It was simply excellent."
Edward Taber, Challenger
