As part of the Specialist and Activity sector within the TUI Group, World Challenge plan and deliver exciting, educational expeditions to over 50 destinations within the developing world, from South America to Mongolia!

We offer the opportunity for over 400 school groups to enter into a programme of learning and development; fundraising; and team building, culminating in a 1-6 week Expedition. Our aim is to ensure that the young challengers experience an awe-inspiring range of community project work, trekking and cultural adventure.

Offering these opportunities to young people and the teachers who accompany them are our dedicated Sales team. We have launched a new Compact product this year, which is opening the door for more schools than ever before to work with us. We are now seeking a proven direct sales executive to join a small new team within the department to generate leads and close new business over the telephone exclusively for this exciting new product.

What you’ll be doing…
Working with a new product launched this year, you’ll work in a small team proactively contacting teachers to build positive relationships, gather information and develop new business through professional telephone sales. With a keen eye for opportunity, you will keep up to date with the educational press to identify new leads. You will develop an excellent level of knowledge of the destinations we visit and will proactively increase the profile and uptake for this exciting new Compact range.

You’ll be target-driven and achievement focused, ready to be rewarded for your success. Confident and with a professional, proactive approach, you’ll be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills.

You will have proven telephone based sales experience, the ability to see a sale through from start to finish and the tenacity to work in a small team dedicated to direct sales.

A natural influencer, you will be tenacious, dedicated and ideally have a good understanding of the benefits of outdoor education. Any experience with sales into the educational market would be a bonus, but not essential.
