World Challenge's Canada operation started up in 2006 with a Local Manager based in Ridley School, Ontario. World Challenge Canada benefits from the wealth of experience and considerable scope of its parent company's Operations department which is responsible for all operational design, planning, management, support, and development globally. This ensures World Challenge Canada is able to provide world class safety and back-up systems.
World Challenge Canada currently has one dedicated and enthusiastic Local Manager, Alex Ralls, who has a passion for the developing world and a firm belief in what a World Challenge expedition can bring to young people. Alex brings the local face to the global presence of World Challenge.
Two to four week overseas expeditions
World Challenge offers a two to four week expedition to one of over thirty 'developing world' destinations in South America, Asia and Africa. The expeditions typically include rewarding community project work, trekking and cultural adventure. Expeditions are preceded by a powerful and exhilarating 10-18 month team building and skills development program designed to challenge you both physically and mentally, enable you to learn important new skills and, most importantly, enjoy yourselves.
