Active education

Active education inspires learning

Young people can sometimes find learning boring. Lessons, textbook study and lectures all have their place, but why not try something completely different? Inspire your students by giving them an active education and taking them on a trip of a lifetime.

Active education Education and learning opportunities are everywhere, not just in school. Here at World Challenge we have identified a range of school trips abroad that will challenge and excite all students, from those who excel in the classroom, to those who have short attention spans.
Getting out in the real world and having active
education experiences makes a lifelong impact and introduces students to new ideas, opinions and skills. Active education expeditions also show students that they can achieve through non academic routes.

Active education expeditions

Encouraging active education through travel not only inspires students to learn, it also encourages them to become more fit and active. Those who may be used to sitting indoors on computers all day could find a new passion for walking, swimming, diving or climbing. Educational visits abroad are so far removed from anything they’ve experienced at home can help them to think about what outdoor opportunities exist on their own doorstep. It’s amazing how travel abroad makes you realise what opportunities you ignore in your home country.

Active education Travel broadens the mind as well as helping to focus it on important issues such as the environment, climate change and poverty. Young people may never have considered such issues before, but active education in another country can make all of these issues relevant give them a real importance when witnessed first hand.

Young people have a lifetime ahead of them to explore the world, what better time to introduce them to the wonders of travel?
