At World Challenge customers are more important than costs
While many travel companies left their customers stranded all over the world with no financial help, we at World Challenge were quick to ensure anyone under their care affected by the recent air traffic disruptions was very well looked after.
At the same time, throughout the delays, World Challenge ensured that all customers stranded overseas were put up in 4* accommodation, all expenses paid and organised daily excursions. In addition to this the teams were wired out ‘pocket money' to cover costs of internet access, laundry and occasional treats.

“The wellbeing and happiness of our customers comes first and foremost to us. We went out of our way to ensure any disruption to them was kept to a minimum and were in constant contact with the teams affected and the parents of the students. Various options for getting the teams home were investigated and we were able to secure seats very soon after the airspace opened - even for such a large group when tickets were in very high demand.”

I must admit I got precious little sleep last night worrying about her return journey although apparently she slept the whole way home! She has returned home in great spirits and we felt confident in her safety and wellbeing throughout the entire extended trip!
